Forest Bathing for Families

A family event for kids of all ages.

Forest bathing is a series of invitations designed to awaken the senses in an intentional way and facilitate aliveness of life. Following your children’s lead and curiosity, we slowly and mindfully engage with the natural setting and cultivate awareness and appreciation for the intelligence of the more than human world. Forest bathing is an evidence-based practice that nurtures health and happiness through engagement with the forest or natural surroundings.100% of donations go towards supporting experiences like these for children and caregivers of color.

This event is organized by City Kids Outdoors and Collecting Rainwater. The Forest Bathing experience will be faciliated by Jeanette Banashak.

About Jeanette Banashak

Jeanette Banashak has a diploma in shinrin yoku (forest bathing) and a certificate in mindful outdoor leadership. She guides people of all ages in urban nature immersion experiences as an act of justice.
