About
My goal is to create space for kids (and adults) to have time to play, to be in nature, to follow their own curiosity and inner guidance and nurture their relationships with themselves, their caregivers and with their community.
So many activities for children center around adult initiatives with pressure from society to achieve. There is a belief that earlier is better. There is precious little time for kids to be allowed to follow what interests them, free from interference. I believe that it is crucial that we protect and expand that time as much as possible.
My goal is to build resources designed to support connections between kids and families with nature, to help parents find the most joy and ease in their role as parents and to support children and parents in developing and maintaining intrinsic motivation, self-directed learning and showing up as their authentic selves.
I support these goals through facilitating nature play groups, parent/child classes, workshops and consulting.
